AI Governance & Advisory

Your organization is adopting AI.
Who's making sure it's governed?

Most companies have an AI strategy.

Very few have the
policies, committee structures, and accountability systems to protect themselves when something goes wrong.
That gap is the risk.

What we hear from C-suite leaders

"We don't know what AI our employees are already using"

"We can't assess the risk we don't know about"

"We have NO policy in place"

"Legal wants guardrails. IT wants speed. HR wants training. Nobody's aligned."

Holly Hartman

Founder, Future Workforce Systems · AI Governance Consultant · International Bestselling Author · Speaker

Most AI governance consultants come from technology or legal backgrounds. Holly comes from 25+ years of building human systems inside real organizations — and that's exactly the gap most governance frameworks miss.

Governance fails when it's treated as a compliance exercise instead of a human systems problem. Holly has spent her career at the intersection of people, process, and organizational change — in pharmaceutical sales, healthcare operations, marketing, and community leadership — long before AI governance had a name.

Why Holly

She ranked #1 nationally out of 520 sales reps in under a year. She spent eleven years as a marketing and sales director for a healthcare practice. She built the largest women's professional network in the Kentuckiana region from scratch — 4,000 members, now a nonprofit with an executive board she chairs. She co-founded a regional hiking community of 32,000 people in six years. She has facilitated over 300 events, led communities totaling 60,000+ people, and coached hundreds of individuals and organizations through change.

She is trauma-informed, holds 16 years of personal recovery, and carries certifications in coaching, group facilitation, and addictions counseling — which means she understands resistance, fear, and behavioral change at a depth most governance consultants have never considered. She has been using generative AI daily since early 2023, placing in the top .001% of ChatGPT users globally, and is currently completing her AIGP certification through IAPP.

She is also a Bingham Fellow — selected for the Class of 2026 cohort tackling Louisville's civic strategy for the AI age — and sits on boards and professional bodies that keep her operating at the intersection of organizational leadership and AI policy in real time.

What makes her different for governance work specifically

She has built governance infrastructure from nothing

Founding and governing a 4,000-member nonprofit requires policies, accountability frameworks, and human systems — the same infrastructure AI governance demands. She has done this under real conditions, not in a case study.

She understands why people resist — and what to do about it

Her background in trauma, recovery, and behavioral coaching gives her a lens on AI anxiety and organizational resistance that most consultants simply don't have. She doesn't just prescribe policy. She diagnoses what's actually in the way.

She knows how to move resistant rooms

Two decades in complex B2B and healthcare sales means Holly can walk into a misaligned leadership team — Legal, IT, HR, operations all pulling different directions — and build consensus. That skill is rare in governance work and essential to it.

She is a practitioner building in real time

Holly is an active AI user, a current AIGP candidate, and a Bingham Fellow working on civic AI strategy right now — not advising on yesterday's framework. Her clients get current, practiced guidance, not recycled consulting playbooks.
